A Beautiful Bohemian Wedding

A Beautiful Bohemian Wedding                                                                                                                                                                              {Clock Barn}

How it began…. The Process to gorgeous Wedding hair!

With thanks to Facebook, Sarrah put out a post on a local community page, and to my delight all my local previous Brides, from that area started tagging and recommending me. I checked the diary and followed up with a message to Sarrah directly. And from then, we started chatting. With these Facebook posts, comes usually hundreds of tags with local suppliers, with what you actually asked for and also, what you didn’t. Sarrah was inundated with information, so i gave all my information and waited. I’m not a hounder. Choosing your suppliers, is so personal and it has to be the right fit for you.

Sarrah asked if she could pop up to my studio for a chat? Of course! So we booked in a little 15min consultation… I tried to play it cool, but as Sarrah was talking, I REALLY wanted to look after Sarrah’s hair for her big day. She had a fab Pinterest board going of all these incredible BoHo inspired relaxed looks, plans for lush extensions, (to add thickness), a gorgeous hair circlet with little china flowers and my favourite bit…. a cape veil.

I was sold, and thankfully, so was she. Sarrah and I made an appointment for her rehearsal, for when she had her hair freshly coloured, and extensions as she wanted them, to ensure we could create the look she wanted without having to use any imagination.

After a very fun rehearsal, we made a timing schedule, Making sure we covered, each person’s hair appointment, make up appointment, room for food and travelling time from the house to The Clock barn, ensuring all were ready in time to enjoy a glass of fizz, have some pictures taken by the gorgeous Kirsty.

After the rehearsal I sent my ‘round up’ email, covering all we needed to discuss before the big day to Sarrah and this is what I got back! (I wont lie, I did a happy dance!)

“It has taken me all my strength not to show everyone those pictures of my Pinterest worthy bridal hair!! Love it!”

The Sunny August day rolled round and I hopped in my car and off I went, driving through the gorgeous countryside towards The Clock Barn, Sarrah got ready at a house near the Venue, in the gorgeous countryside.

We had a morning of laughs and giggles with Sarrah’s family and Friends, along with the rather Marvellous Make Up artist Amy, I’ve worked with Amy Many times and its lovely to work alongside someone as talented as she. We always run on-time as a team and make for a dream team creating a great Bridal Look!

Sarrah’s Venue, The Clock Barn is in a gorgeous Country setting, with the most beautiful grounds and Barn itself, even with a nod to an industrial looking side, it offers such a lovely vibe. We have had very traditional weddings here and some very bespoke relaxed occasions too. It really is a versatile little gem, a gorgeous wedding venue, nestled in the countryside just outside Winchester.

Sarrah looked amazing in her Fox Bridal Gown and that cape Veil…. I think everyone should wear a cape!  You’l see in the pictures just how gorgeous Sarrah & Ryan’s rustic style came into force! Love all the little touches, made by the Groom Himself!

I loved everything abut this wedding! I obviously say my goodbyes and good luck wishes to the Bride, just as they’re about to leave to go to the ceremony…  I hear all about the dreams, hard work and visions, but when it all comes together, like this one…WoW! So when the pictures land a few weeks later. I LOVE IT! Utterly Gorgeous Wedding inspiration, right here! I felt the hair, make up, dress all looked beautiful together.

Well done Team, Sarrah You smashed it!
